sometimes, i amazed myself.
the night before i was in the danger of a mental breakdown. same old story on the last night of holiday before college starts, i would be in deep poo.(i know there is no excuse for doing things last minute but people, i am human and i really do need holiday)
like what ah hoay says, we need pressure to motivate us. well, to a certain extent yep but still it is not solely because of this. Pressure is inevitable in college, especially if you are an A-level student and just having one almost inhuman lecturer would mean that you are doomed to be holiday-less.
i mean, the assignments require mental preparation and lots of mental input. if your mind is still dehydrated, there is no way it can get started. the outcome would be zero or a piece of worse than junk junk.
so, it so happens that when you are being pushed to the edge, you have no better choice but to dig into those brain of yours and try pull out some output.
thus, you cry and whine and sob and sniff and you slowly gather your thoughts.
you aren't exactly focused as you are already physically, mentally and emotionally drained.(at least I'll never ever be spiritually drained..hehe)
anyway, you would slowly lost track of time, as more brain juice is being squeezed, you would realized there will always be an astonishing leap in time from the last time you look at the clock till the next time. and of course not to say impressed by your volume of brain juice.(wow, and i said it was dried and fried) apparently, God gave us a marvelous brain which perform "miracles".
many things are made possible and enemies such as miss sleepiness and mister dizziness won't be knocking on your door.
basically you will turn into a machine with one and only one mission to be accomplished.
finally, your battle is over, yup, you have nothing left, you are now literally dried.
the next day, you would wake up and say woah! is that really me yesterday night?
yes, and you will be proud that you are the conqueror of the night. though only you yourself recognizes your achievements but seriously, you will feel so touched that you might wanna cry.
"yes baby, the victory is ours...all hail mighty brain!"
