my 18th

although it was months ago…still.feel like blogging about a very special day.

they say sweet 16,fun 17..so how about 18?many would say 18 is an important year..why?perhaps the number 18 just sounds cool or significant.

well…i think 18 is a year of changes.indeed,the Chinese saying goes “a young lady changes as she reaches 18”

when i look back.yup,its true that 18 is a year of change..big changes…amazingly wondrous changes..i would say.

i didn’t have a wild glamorous party for my 18th,in fact i had a simple lil surprise from my darlings…

it was literally surprising.

1st,i got mad with the whole world(part of their plan is to NOT reveal the secret NO MATTER WHAT)

2nd,i was too sensitive and found out about the surprise party planned from mum and my dears…(was really touched actually.haha)

3rd,a few disturbance to the plan.as you can see the candles were lighted on the basketball court…but there was a aunties’ dancing session going on…another thing,it wasn’t easy to keep the candles burning all at once(and not melting too fast)

4th,the world’s clumsiest girl dropped her cake…this was one of those super duper embarrassing moments in life.imagine seeing your birthday cake slip through the openings of the BBQ thingy and go flat in half a second’s time in front of your bestie who drove for the very 1st time just to get that cake

sometimes.i have to admit I'm a horrible person

5th,the aunties were getting annoyed thus we have to clean up the place and leave as quickly as possible

hmph!they were just jealous that they didn’t have besties who celebrated their birthday in such a lovely way

as usual,we managed to have fun all night long.

my brother became our photographer,and the camera witnessed the passion and bond between 3 undeniably ravishing,crazy and live life to the fullest young ladies

it showed me what being 18 is all about.

to live,love and laugh

live…I've never been so alive before.in Him and through Him a life so blessed

love…to meet those whom deep down you know footsteps would remain for the rest of your life

laugh…the many little things which spell blessings from Him

18 is an affirmation,a process,a revelation…
